On 15 July 2020, MEKH the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority published the second tender for supporting the production of electricity from renewable energy sources fed into the public grid.

The Hungarian Solar Panel Association organized a conference to facilitate effective participation in the METÁR tender.

In his presentation, Mr. Istvánffy also spoke about how the spot electricity markets of HUPX support the sale of the produced electricity to the renewable producers eligible for METÁR support on the market.
