Cross-border transmission line between Slovenia and Hungary to be concluded by March 2022

HUPX welcomes the annoncement of the Slovenian (ELES) and Hungarian (MAVIR Ltd.) Transmission System Operators about the construction of a cross-border transmission-line between the two countries and the start of the allocation of cross-border transmission capacities (expected starting in March 2022). The development opens up further opportunities for power trading and increases liquidity in the Hungarian market.
