HUPX becoming supporting-member in HETA
On 27th of November 2020 HUPX Hungarian Power Exchange joined the Hungarian Energy Traders’ Association (HETA) as silver grade supporting-member.
In its decision of November 27th, the presidency of HETA approved the accession of HUPX to the Association of Silver Associates. Consequently, the Exchange will be involved in the work of the Electricity Market Committee with deliberative rights and will also aspire to act as an active participant at the Association’s future events.
The Association’s main objectives are to represent the interests of companies trading on electricity and natural gas markets in Hungary, promote the development of electricity and natural gas trade and the establishment of a transparent market that complies with the European Union’s regulations on the creation of a single internal electricity and natural gas market.
Being committed to the above goals, HUPX is looking forward to a fruitful cooperation with HETA based on regular exchange of professional views and experience of both the domestic and European power markets.
